1. Introduction

This policy governs the shipping and delivery services provided through the Dozer platform, outlining the shipping fee calculation method, responsibilities of involved parties, delivery procedures, and cases of delay, loss, or damage.

This policy shall be read in conjunction with:

  • Cancellation Policy.

  • Return Policy.

  • Privacy Policy.

2. Role of Dozer

Dozer is an electronic platform that connects customers with stores, coordinating delivery services through its own couriers or contracted delivery companies.

Dozer is not considered a shipping company or a freight carrier, except in cases where delivery is performed directly by its operational teams.

3. Coverage Scope

Delivery services are provided within:

  • The Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

  • All provinces of the Republic of Iraq.

Dozer reserves the right to modify coverage areas or add new regions at any time.

4. Means of Delivery

Delivery may be carried out by:

  • Dozer couriers.

  • Delivery companies contracted by Dozer.

  • Authorized logistics partners.

  • Any service provider approved by Dozer in the future.

5. Delivery Mechanism

The delivery method depends on store location, customer location, and the nature of the product, including for example:

  • Delivery within industrial areas by Dozer couriers when the service is available.

  • Delivery within cities or between provinces by transport companies or logistics partners.

Dozer reserves the right to select the appropriate delivery method to achieve maximum operational efficiency.

6. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are calculated based on multiple factors, including:

  • Geographic region.

  • City or province.

  • Product size.

  • Product weight.

  • Nature of the product.

  • Type of delivery service.

Shipping fees will be displayed to the customer before order confirmation whenever possible.

7. Shipping Rate Determination

Shipping rates are determined in coordination between Dozer and approved delivery companies.

Fees may vary from one order to another depending on the area, product size, and delivery method.

8. Delivery Duration

All timeframes displayed on the platform are estimated timeframes.

Delivery time may be affected by:

  • Weather conditions.

  • Traffic congestion.

  • Security situations.

  • Official holidays.

  • Distance.

  • Product availability.

  • Any operational circumstances beyond control.

Delays in these cases shall not be considered a breach of contract if caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control.

9. Store Responsibilities

The store undertakes to:

  • Prepare the order correctly.

  • Package the product appropriately.

  • Hand over the product in good condition to the Dozer courier or delivery company.

  • Provide Dozer with accurate product information if required for shipping.

10. Delivery Company Responsibilities

The delivery company assumes responsibility for safeguarding the product after receiving it from the store until it is delivered to the customer.

In the event of proven loss or damage of the product during transit, the delivery company shall bear responsibility in accordance with agreements concluded between them and Dozer, without conflicting with the law.

11. Customer Responsibilities

The customer undertakes to:

  • Provide a correct and complete delivery address.

  • Provide a valid phone number.

  • Be available or authorize a person to receive the order at the agreed time.

  • Inspect the order upon delivery whenever possible.

12. Inability to Deliver

If the order cannot be delivered due to:

  • Incorrect address.

  • Customer non-responsiveness.

  • Absence of a recipient.

  • Refusal of receipt without a legitimate reason.

The delivery may be rescheduled or the order returned to the store, and the customer may incur resulting fees in accordance with approved policies.

13. Shipment Damage or Loss

If the product suffers damage or loss during transport after being received in good condition from the store, the delivery company shall bear responsibility in accordance with the agreement signed with it.

Dozer will coordinate between the parties to handle the claim without assuming direct legal liability, unless otherwise provided by law or agreement.

14. Force Majeure

Neither Dozer, the store, nor the delivery company shall be held liable for any delay or non-performance resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters.

  • Floods.

  • Fires.

  • Wars.

  • Security disturbances.

  • Strikes.

  • Government decisions.

  • Interruption of telecommunication or internet services.

  • Any other condition beyond reasonable control.

Obligations shall be fulfilled after such circumstances cease, whenever possible.

15. Relationship with Other Policies

This policy shall be read in conjunction with:

  • Terms and Conditions.

  • Return Policy.

  • Cancellation Policy.

  • Privacy Policy.

In case of conflict, each document shall be interpreted within its respective scope.

16. Policy Amendments

Dozer reserves the right to amend the shipping policy at any time to align with operational developments or legal requirements.

The updated version will be published on the application or website, and continued use of the platform shall constitute acceptance of the amendments.

17. Policy Validity

This policy comes into effect as of its publication date on the Dozer platform and remains valid until amended or replaced.
